Allah menguji manusia melalu anaknya. Untuk melihat apakah ia memelihara secara aktif, yakni mendidik dan mengembangkan potensi-potensi anak agar menjadi manusia sebagaimana yang dikehendaki Allah. (Tafsir al-misbah, Jilid 10:426) Anak sebagai Musuh; Kedudukan anak sebagai musuh dipahami dai ayat al-Quran, yakni dalam Surah At Taghabun ayat 14.

Allah Swt. menyebutkan tentang laut yang luas dengan ombaknya yang gemuruh, Dia telah menundukkannya. Allah menyebutkan pula karunia­Nya kepada hamba-hamba-Nya, bahwa Dia telah menundukkan laut untuk mereka sehingga mereka dapat mengarunginya; Dia telah menciptakan padanya ikan-ikan kecil dan ikan-ikan besar, lalu menghalalkannya bagi hamba-hamba-Nya untuk dimakan dagingnya, baik dalam bOnzR.
